Cream Soda
A promo campaign for CREAM SODA's album "HYSTERIA": visual communication built to channel the release's atmosphere. Full asset suite — animation, emoji stickers, icons, graphics, and posters.
The release of CREAM SODA's album "HYSTERIA" demanded visual support capable of speaking the same language as the music — emotional, vivid, and unrestrained. The goal was to establish a cohesive visual code for the release, one that would organically extend the aesthetics of the cover art, photoshoot materials, and the artists' personal input. The final product needed to become a natural visual continuation of the music, triggering an instant association with the album at every audience touchpoint. CONCEPT & EXECUTION The band's central request was to render their own identity, recognisable references, and the members' likenesses in the anime style. The task was approached through the careful integration of the group's key brand elements into the aesthetics of Japanese animation. The work incorporated: - The group's signature logos and symbols; - Distinctive elements and characters associated with the musical collective; - Popular attributes of Japanese pop culture. The Studio created endearing character versions of the band members in a variety of renditions. Stickers featuring pop-culture references — with the members' likenesses organically embedded into them — became a particularly expressive standalone element. Despite the playful approach to form and style, the work fully preserved the album's recognisable mood and colour palette, avoiding any visual dissonance between the music and the imagery. SCOPE OF WORK The development encompassed a comprehensive suite of stylistically unified content assets, forming a cohesive ecosystem of visual support for the release: - Animated videos — dynamic anime-style clips for announcing and accompanying the album; - Animated channel emojis — a custom set of animated stickers for messengers and the band's Telegram channel; - Social media icons — updated avatars and profile design elements; - Social media wallpapers — stylised backgrounds and cover images; - Graphic elements and static stickers — an additional set of visual materials to maintain a consistent release aesthetic.
